Starting with theater, Macaulay moved to TV with his appearance in The Equalizer, an 80’s drama show. Then, came his role in The Midnight Hour, a TV movie. Alas, in 1989 he hit his break in the comedy film Uncle Buck. His character was the middle child of the Russel family. Though Culkin was breaking out as a star, not everything would turn out smoothly for him.
