The Show Can’t Go On
The picture behind the scenes really started to get mixed up when Paul Sr. decided to fire his son, Paul Jr. Unfortunately, for Paul Sr., he was unaware of the legal issues that were connected his his decision. TLC reminded Paul Sr. that according to their signed contract, the show would be cancelled if one party was not present. Together with TLC, they managed to hire Paul Jr. as a contractor and everything was to go back to normal.
The Fine Print
What followed was less than fine or fun for Paul Jr. The fine print of the contract actually gave his father the right and power to buy him out of Orange County Choppers. To make matters worse, it meant that Paul Jr. would not appear on the show any longer and would not receive any compensation.
