Death
Over 30 years ago when the investigation began, the autopsy revealed Wood was slightly intoxicated. Of course, when she was discovered, they ruled her death an accident. Wagner told authorities that when he went to bed that night, his wife was not there. However, people were suspicious hearing that Wood’s body had fresh bruises. Even Natalie’s sister, Lena Wood claims her sister never would have tried to sail alone at night even though they found her near a small inflatable dinghy.

The captain and others claimed that Wagner and Natalie Wood had a very heated argument that night. Due to recent witness statements, the investigators have reopened the case. Apparently, Davern felt the fight between Wagner and Wood was so intense he feared an assault may take place!
