Silver Star recipient Chris Choay was an Army Ranger who displayed pure disregard for his own well being when he assaulted a Taliban bunker alone, with a jammed weapon. On May 3, 2005, under heavy enemy machine gun fire, Chris bolted across the remote valley and eliminated 4 Taliban fighters shooting at his men as well as the bunker beside them filled with ordinance and more combatants.
