Alabama – To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)
The film based on the classic book of the same name features Gregory Peck and tells the story of Atticus Finch rallying for a black man that’s been accused of assaulting a white woman. The film was a great success and its message is still relevant today.
Alaska – Insomnia (2002)
This 2002 film is actually a US-based adaptation of a Norwegian film. Al Pacino plays a detective that investigates small night Nightmute in order to help a police officer played by Hilary Swank. They join forces in order to hunt for a serial killer that’s portrayed by Robin Williams.
