Actually, Lori Maddox was best friends with Sable Starr, and is also part of the inspiration for the Almost Famous character. These girls became known as “baby groupies” due to their young ages when they emerged on the scene. Many suspect she engaged in her first ever intimate acts with David Bowie. Though, she is most famous for dating Jimmy Page for several years. Thus, it’s no surprise that they say she was the muse for the Zeppelin song “Sick Again.” She also had relations with Mick Jagger.
