Their Neighbors
If you’ve ever taken a look at a map of the Middle-East, you’d notice that Saudi Arabia has some interesting neighbors. There’s Jordan and Iraq in the north, Kuwait in the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates off to the east, Oman to the southeast and Yemen to the south.
A Calendar Or Two
While we’re used to the Gregorian calendar, the Saudi people are still getting used to it. The reason is because they have their own lunar calendar and only adopted the use of the Gregorian calendar in 2016. They still use their own calendar, but use the Gregorian for civil purposes.
