Melinda French married Bill Gates in 1994, but the two separated in May 2021. While they were married, they created the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is one of the largest charities in the world. She first worked as marketing manager at Microsoft and later became General Manager of Information Products before she stepped away from the company in 1996 in order to focus on raising her children.

Priscilla Chan is a trained pediatrician who now focuses her time on philanthropy. She is married to Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, now known as Meta. They met when they were both students at Harvard and got married in 2012. They started the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, an organization that has already donated over $4 billion to various charities. Their combined 18 million Meta shares come out to a market value of about $900 million.
