Carmen was in the forest pretty far, and she heard a strange noise. It was something she’d never experienced before, so she decided to follow it and determine where it was coming from. It caused her to see a strange bird perched in a tree, but she couldn’t determine what it was initially. Then, she got closer, and the noise hurt her ears. After a while, Carmen felt that she wasn’t welcome in that area, but she ignored the pain to find out what this bird was. It became so intense that she almost collapsed!
Did Carmen find a new species of bird? Was she injured beyond repair?

Carmen was screaming in pain, and her ears burned because of the bird’s high-pitched sound. Clearly, the bird didn’t want her to get any closer, but she had to figure out what it was. Finally, though, the pain was unbearable.
