Marilyn Monroe And The Queen Were Born The Same Year

It’s really insane to think about, but Queen Elizabeth and Marilyn Monroe were both born in 1926. They met one another in 1956, when they were both 30 years old, at the premier of the film The Battle of the River Plate. Monroe passed away 6 years later at age 36, while the Queen lives on until today, now 92 years old. Could you imagine a 92 year old Monroe?

Martin Luther King Jr. And Anne Frank Were Born In The Same Year

For some reason, we tend to think of U.S. history as almost separate from the history of the rest of the world. Perhaps it’s also because while MLK was assassinated while he was an adult, Anne Frank was unfortunately killed as a child, forever sealed in our minds as a child.
