Although they’d always wanted a dog, the couple had been forbidden from getting one at their old place. The rental agreement stipulated no pets, so they’d just had to cope without having a furry friend in their lives. Fortunately, with the new house being their own property, no-one could tell them what to do.

In their search for a pet, the pair looked at the Detroit Dog Rescue website and were captivated by what they saw. After seeing pictures of Sir Wiggleton and reading about him, they knew he was the pup for them. They just had to hope everything would fall into place when they visited the shelter.
