Understandably, the volunteers at Detroit Dog Rescue were thrilled when Dan and his girlfriend showed an interest in Sir Wiggleton. They’d been waiting for someone to give the pooch a home, and now a loving couple was on their doorstep waiting to do just that. Hopefully, they would be a match for the young pup.

Of course, the shelter couldn’t just give Sir Wiggleton to the couple without checking they would make suitable parents. The dog was taken to their home to see if he felt comfortable there, while Dan and his girlfriend were screened. As long as everything went according to plan, the pooch would soon be theirs.
